Security plan finalised for NA-153 by-poll

MULTAN: The district administration and security agencies have finalised security plan for the NA-153 by-poll here.
Talking to journalists here on Wednesday, officials said that it was decided that polling material would be distributed under strict supervision of the army while complete ban would be imposed on outrageous speeches in the constituency. The officials said that the whole security plan would ensure transparency and peaceful environment during the election. The display of weapons would be banned completely in the constituency, they added. The security of all the contesting candidates had been ensured strictly, the officials informed. The district administration and police had held meetings with the candidates and informed them election code of conduct, they continued. The officials told that the police had been assigned the responsibility of making foolproof security arrangements and dealing with lawbreakers with iron hand. The CCTV cameras would be installed to monitor all activities inside the polling stations, the officials added.
