Owners want return of impounded auto rickshaws in Mingora

MINGORA: The owners of three-wheelers on Wednesday asked the provincial government to help them get back their rickshaws impounded by the traffic police.
Talking to reporters the drivers including Javed Khan, Aimal Khan, Khursheed Ali and others said the traffic police had impounded 200 rickshaws under various pretexts for two months. They alleged that the vehicles had been impounded illegally and the cops were demanding bribes for returning the three-wheelers.
President of All Swat Rickshaw Union Ibrahim Khankhel said that the most of the impounded vehicles belongs to poor. He urged the government to intervene and help return the rickshaws to the drivers.
