15 suspects arrested in Quetta, arms recovered
QUETTA: Frontier Corps arrested an alleged militant and destroyed four hideouts in Johan area of Kalat district Tuesday. According to FC spokesman, working on a tip-off FC personnel carried out a search operation in the area and held an alleged militant. Four hideouts were demolished in the search operation. FC personnel also seized three small machineguns, two rifles, improvised explosive devices and thousand rounds from the hideouts before destroying them. Further investigation was under way. Meanwhile, Frontier Corps rounded up 15 suspects and recovered arms from their possession in different areas of Quetta Tuesday. According to FC spokesman, acting on a tip-off FC personnel carried out search operations in different areas including Teen Town, Sirki Road and Brewery Road and apprehended 15 suspects. Arms including six pistols, 4 SMGs, 2 rifles and thousands round were also recovered from their possession.
