Two killed in accidents

KASUR: A child and a woman were killed in different accidents on Monday.
Muhammad Amjad along with his wife and a minor son was going from Kasur city towards his village on a motorcycle, when they reached near Kasur bypass, Sahari Chowk, Basti Sabri area, another motorcyclist hit them, leaving his six-month-old son dead on the spot and he and his wife injured critically.
The second accident happened on Dfatoo Road near Ferozepur Road where Akhtar Bibi, 40, fell down from a running auto rickshaw and was ran over by an oil tanker and died on the spot.
ARRESTED: The City police Monday arrested two accused and recovered stolen motorcycles from their possession.
DSP City Ikram Khan told the media that on the direction of the DPO, a special team of the Kasur police arrested alleged ringleader Rizwan and his accomplice Sharafat and recovered 21 stolen motorcycles from their possession. The police delivered motorcycles to their owners.
