Dear Ed,
The article ‘Water: source of life’ by Zakeriya Ali (4 April issue) was informative and highlighted the critical importance of water for human survival and prosperity. The historical perspective on the origin of water is fascinating and shows thorough research. However, the article could be improved by using simpler and clearer language. Some parts were hard to follow due to the heavy use of complex words and long sentences. A more straightforward style would make it easier for more readers to understand and appreciate the important message. Overall, the article raises much-needed awareness about water conservation, and I hope to see more such topics discussed in the magazine in the future.

Dear Editor,
In the issue of 28 March I read ‘Broken toys’ by Abid Agha and ‘My parents’ by Memoona Mukhtar, in ‘Poets’ Corner’ and I felt deeply moved by both. ‘Broken toys’ captures the pain and helplessness of innocent children caught in war. The way the poet describes the destroyed toys and schools really broke my heart. The lines questioning the silence of the Muslim ummah stayed with me long after reading. On the other hand, ‘My parents’ is a beautiful, heartfelt tribute to the unconditional love of parents. I loved how simply and warmly the poet described their constant support. It’s the kind of poem that makes you want to hug your parents right away and appreciate them more.
I really like ‘Poets’ Corner’ and love poems by Amna Ameer and Abid Agha. Another poet I would like to mention here is Syeda Maqsoom who writes beautifully. Good job, poets!

Dear Editor,
I am writing to suggest that Us should regularly publish articles on adolescence and mental health. In Pakistan, awareness about these crucial topics is still very limited. Many young people I know personally are facing emotional struggles feel helpless and isolated because of a lack of understanding from parents and society. A respected youth magazine can play an important role by educating both young people and their parents. Articles about growing up, handling emotions, building confidence, and seeking help when needed would be extremely helpful.
