It’s not just the headlining acts who matter the most; those who are showcased outdoors are equally important. With that in mind and having received over 300 applicants, Lahore Music Meet co-founders Natasha Noorani and Zahra Paracha have carefully curated performers for their fifth edition.
While Shamoon Ismail, Naseebo Lal, Saakin, and Talal Qureshi will be headlining this year’s edition and performing the indoor showcase, artists who will be showcasing music as part of outdoor showcase include some electrifying names, both established and younger. Among them will be artists such as Haniya Aslam, Adil Omar, Mekaal Hassan Band, Ali Noor, Mughal-e-Funk, Natasha Humera Ejaz, Mehdi Maloof, Faris Shafi, IFRA, Gentle Robot, Madlock, Mahak Qayyum, Hassan Sheikh & Roshaan Sherwani, Towers, Maanu, Karakoram, Fake Shamans, Farheen Raza and Iqbal. The outdoor showcase will also feature Auj and Aarish (Pepsi Battle of the Bands Season 4) winners and finalist bands respectively.
It is good to see artists added from other cities to create an all-round experience
The Lahore Music Meet, in its fifth year now is entirely women-led and comprises Natasha Noorani and Zahra Paracha as co-founders and festival directors, with Sana Nasir onboard as Art Director and Munizeh Sanai as Creative Director.
