The trailer of new web series, The Roomeos, written and directed by Bilal Yousufzai, was launched earlier this month while the first episode released on July 18.

Featuring three roommates Faham, Hunain and Rais, essayed by Faham Usman, Rais ur Rehman and Hunain Riaz, the story revolves around present day issues that confront young people in our part of the world.

The first episode tackles the idea of start-ups, something that crosses the mind of almost every young individual whenever he or she feels unappreciated at work. They want to quit their jobs and start something of their own. However, it is not as easy as it may sound and this is what the first episode of The Roomeos explores.

Faham, Hunain and Rais decide to come up with ideas for a start-up and they even do but they end up with nothing. The humor, the performances as well as the setting is relatable but the story lacks a bit of depth that could have made it more convincing. What led to their failure was quite abrupt and didn’t leave viewers with some food for thought.

Presented by BVC Originals, in association with RKF and Dramaculas, The Roomeos has a total of five episodes that will take up five different subjects.
