The trailer of the award-winning feature film Gumm: In The Middle of Nowhere, that has been written and directed by Ammar Lasani and Kanza Zia, is out and is quite thrilling and mysterious to say the least. The upcoming movie features Sami Khan, Shamoon Abbasi and Shameen Khan in key roles.
The almost two-and-a-half-minute trailer starts off with Asad (essayed by Sami Khan) wooing Shameen Khan and asking her to marry him. Then we see Sami Khan in a car, injured with some cash and a gun in the middle of nowhere. He has no recollection of his past and it is here that Khan meets Shamoon Abbasi, a desperate father who is trying to save his daughter’s life. It shows the struggle of Asad, who has to face the consequences of his past actions that he doesn’t even remember.
Though the official trailer doesn’t give out the entire story, we see a lot of action between Sami Khan and Shamoon Abbasi, who are fighting and juggling between odds to save what matters most to them.
Produced by Shakeel Anjum, the two-hour-long action-thriller action has had multiple international screenings and has won several accolades at different film festivals. It is slated to hit theatres nationwide on January 11, next year.
