After a successful and superb run together 26 years back, Madhuri Dixit Nene and Anil Kapoor have reunited for Total Dhamaal, which is being directed by Indra Kumar. The first look of the film came out over the weekend and it seems nothing has changed over the years, as the two look just as terrific as did in the previous years.
The recent shoot for the film features Madhuri in a sequined red gown while Anil Kapoor complements her with a green suit. The last time they appeared together on the big screen was in Beta while they have also done films like Tezaab and Ram Lakhan.
Speaking of the shoot, Anil Kapoor posted on social, “How I love the first day of shoot! Total Dhamaal begins today! Madhuri Dixit, Indra Kumar and I are working together after 26 years but the energy and vibe is the same as it was during Beta. It’s going to be an epic ride. Let’s get the camera rolling.”
Total Dhamaal is a sequel to 2011 film Double Dhamaal and is going to be the third installment of the Dhamaal franchise. The film also features Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi and Javed Jaffrey, who will reprise their roles, while Ajay Devgn and Boman Irani will be new additions to the cast aside from Madhuri Dixit Nene and Anil Kapoor.
Total Dhamaal is scheduled to come out this December.
