Celebrity couple Syra Shahroze and Shahroze Sabzwari, who have been married since 2012, have been an integral part of the entertainment industry for several years now. While they have starred in a number of TV projects with a movie, each, to their credit, they haven’t worked as co-stars except for drama serial, Tanhaiyan Naye Silsilay (2012).
But all that could change as the latest news surrounding the two suggests that they will soon star together in an upcoming film.
Syra and Shahroze broke the news of their movie on social media this Valentine’s Day (February 14) along with a picture featuring the two in lush green fields.
Speaking to Instep about the film and working with her husband Shahroze as co-star, Syra shared, “It is a coming-of-age film which is being directed by Omar Isa Khan and it was his idea to cast us together. He always saw us playing the roles.”
When asked if she always wanted to work with Shahroze, Syra responded, “Yeah, I knew that whenever we work together onscreen, it will be great. So, I was waiting for something good to come around.”
The actor also informed that they began shooting in January and are currently filming. However, she didn’t reveal much about the story.
Syra and Shahroze made their big screen debuts last year, with Chalay Thay Saath and Chain Aye Na, respectively. This will be their second film and (the first one as co-stars) that may release later this year or early next year.
