LONDON: International Institute for Justice Excellence to give 'International Justice Excellence Award' to Tassadq Hussain Jilani, the former Chief justice of Pakistan.
Jilani is honorary member of the International Court of Justice (ICJ). The event will take place in the Grand Foyer of the Peace palace where ICJ President Yousuf will be keynote speaker.
London based solicitor Rizwan Sulheria, who has received invitation to attend the event, says Justice Jilani will be present in person to receive the award and will address the audience.
"It’s a big honour for Pakistan that the former CJP Justice Jilani will be receiving this prestigious award. Leading jurists of the world will be present on the occasion. Justice Gilani has been selected for the award based on his contribution for the field of law. He is considered a leading jurist of the world."
