Dead body of one of the Pakistani victims of Christchurch, Syed Areeb Ahmed will be arriving in his hometown of Karachi on Monday morning.
As per reports, citing the Pakistan Deputy High Commissioner to New Zealand, Syed Muazzam Shah, the body will be transported via Dubai in Emirates flight EK-600 will reach Karachi on Monday at 10:30am and will be received by Pakistani authorities.
Earlier this week, eight Pakistanis amongst the 50 Christchurch massacre victims were laid to rest in New Zealand in a massive funeral service attended by over 5,000 people.
Areeb, 27, was a chartered accountant in Christchurch and had hailed from Karachi’s Federal B Area, Block 14. He was said to have moved to New Zealand 18 months prior to work for an audit firm.
