RAWALPINDI: Two Pakistani civilians including a woman embraced Shahdat while four other sustained injuries in unprovoked Indian firing along the Line of Control (LoC).
Inter Services Public Relations, the media wing of the military, said in statement here Monday, “Indian troops resorted to unprovoked fire in Chakothi Sector along Line of Control( LOC), targeting civilian population. Two civilians including a woman embraced Shahadat, while four were injured.”
Those who were martyred have been identified as Ghulam Hussain resident of Village Bakot and Noushad Bibi wife of Abdul Rehman and resident of Soka Village.
Raja Mehmood resident of Darang More, Zahida Bibi resident of Bari Bhaik, Ghulam Muhammad and Muhammad Zakir resident of Village Bakot were injured in the Indian firing, the ISPR said.
Pakistan army troops responded effectively targeting Indian post which initiated fire, the statement added.
