SHARJAH: Former skipper of South Africa's cricket team AB de Villiers Friday made his presence felt at the fourth edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) with a Man of the Match performance against Multan Sultans at Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
The Proteas superstar, who smashed an unbeaten 52 off 29 deliveries with three maximums and equal number of boundaries against Sultans, expressed delight over the ‘Special game of cricket’ and stated that he ‘enjoyed every second’ of the game.
After his star performance at Sharjha which was widely lauded by cricket lovers, Lahore Qalandars captain AB de Villiers tweeted: "Special game of cricket tonight in front of a packed Sharjah crowd, I enjoyed every second out there with the Lahore Qalandars , we fought for every inch. HBL PSL lighting up now, quality of cricket is from the top drawer!"
Lahore Qalandars pulled off a record 201-run chase on the very last ball of the innings courtesy aesthetically beautiful batting display by opener skipper AB De Villiers and David Wiese in the 10th game of PSL at the historic Sharjah Cricket Ground.
