MUMBAI: A day after ICC Chief Executive Officer David Richardson stated that Pakistan and Indian World Cup 2019 clash will go ahead as scheduled on June 16 in Manchester, top official of Indian cricket board has said that ‘this match will not take place if Indian government is against it”.
Indian media citing top BCCI official reported that Pakistan and India match will not go take place if the Indian government is against it after Pulwama attack, adding that situation will become clear after some time.

He went on to say, if it is the final of the World Cup, and India do not play, Pakistan will win the cup.
On Tuesday, ICC Chief Executive Officer (CEO) David Richardson said “Pakistan and India World Cup 2019 match will go ahead despite the tensions between two countries in the wake of Pulwama attack.”
