Multan Sultans vs Quetta Gladiators match preview: Now both teams are playing against each other in their third match on Wednesday and the Gladiators are looking favourites due to their unbeaten form. Two of their batsmen - Umar Akmal and Shane Watson - are among the three players who have so far scored 100 or more runs in the PLS4. Umar topped the list with 119 runs including one fifty in two matches and Shane came third with exact 100 runs including one fifty in two matches.

SHARJAH: Quetta Gladiators, the only team winning two matches so far in the fourth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2019, will now face Multan Sultans after all the teams have been rested for two days.

The eight of the next matches will now be played in Sharjah with this Twenty20 match to be held at 9.00 pm on Wednesday.

The Gladiators are on the top of the table with four points while the Sultans are on third place with two points, after winning one and losing one match so far in the event.

Quetta Gladiators won their matches against Peshawar Zalmi by six wickets and Islamabad United by seven wickets while Multan Sultans lost their first match by seven runs against Karachi Kings and later won their second match by five wickets against Islamabad United.

Now both teams are playing against each other in their third match on Wednesday and the Gladiators are looking favourites due to their unbeaten form. For Multan Sultans, their skipper Shoaib Malik made the most runs - 83 runs including one fifty in two matches.

The bowlers taking the most wickets for Quetta Gladiators in the event so far is left-arm medium-fast bowler Sohail Tanvir, who has so far captured four wickets at an average of 14.25 while the highest wicket-takers for Multan Sultans are off-spinner Chris Green and left-arm fast bowler Junaid Khan with three wickets each.

Sarfraz Ahmed, the skipper of the national team, is captaining Quetta Gladiators while former Pakistan captain Shoaib Malik is leading Multan Sultans.

Both teams have fine blends of youth and experience with local talent and international players, prominent of them are for the Gladiators: Shane Watson, Mohammad Nawaz

Dwayne Smith, Dwayne Bravo, Umar Akmal, Ahmed Shehzad, Rillee Rilee Rossouw, Sohail Tanveer, Sunil Narine, Anwar Ali and Mohammad Asghar, and for Multan Sultans: Shahid Afridi, Andre Russell, Hammad Azam, Shan Masood, Laurie Evans, Mohammad Abbas, Mohammad Irfan, Junaid khan, Chris Green, Joe Denly, James Vince and Steve Smith.
