LAHORE: Ahead of the thrilling play-off to be played between defending champions Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators today at Lahore’s Gaddafi stadium, international players are expressing their heart-felt emotions about coming to Pakistan.

Amongst all such players is Chris Green who, in a recently-uploaded video on Twitter, said that he is excited to visit Pakistan and cannot wait to play here for the first time.

“Just got to Lahore in Pakistan for the first time. Really really excited to be here, so are all my teammates tonight at the hotel and we’re all are very excited for our play-off game against Zalmi….,” shared Chris.

He further added that he cannot wait to see all the fans and get out on the field and ‘really experience cricket in Pakistan for the first time.’

Top-class batsman Rilee Rossouw of Quetta Gladiators had the same feelings on coming to Pakistan.

He extended his good wishes for the amazing series. “Hopefully everything goes well this year and the new recruits that are coming in really boost our side and we can get the job done this season,” he said.

Alan Wilkins, who did not come to Pakistan last year during the series’ second edition, seemed quite exhilarated to spend time here with Daren Ganga and Former Pakistan Captain Majid Khan this year.

Earlier this morning, the trio even went to witness the breathtaking Shahi Hammam and Wazir Khan Mosque, with Daren proclaiming the visit as‘divine’. Pakistan Zindabad, he wrote!
