ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Wednesday seized the account of the renowned singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan after he failed to pay the income tax worth Rs 3.2 million.
According to Geo News, Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has also recovered an amount of Rs 2 million before freezing the account of Rahat Fateh Ali Khan as he was obliged to pay income tax worth Rs 3.2 million.
The accounts of the singer were first seized in 2017 by Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) over non-payment of Rs3.348 million in terms of tax.
