Klaasen, Duminy shine as S Africa beat India by six wickets in second T20

Klaasen and Duminy helped South Afri beat India by six wickets in the second Twenty20 international at Super Sport Park on Wednesday.

CENTURION: Klaasen and Duminy helped South Africa beat India by six wickets in the second Twenty20 international at Super Sport Park on Wednesday.

Klaasen smacked 69 off 30 balls to give a chase of 189 the impetus it needed, and JP Duminy batted through to the end to finish unbeaten on 64 off 40, ending the game with a pair of sixes off Jaydev Unadkat in the 19th over of the innings.

South Africa won the toss and decided to bowl in the second Twenty20 international against India, aiming  win to stay in contention in the three-match series.

South Africa won  by six wickets

India 188 for 4 (Pandey 79*, Dhoni 52*)

South Africa 189 for 4 (Klaasen 69, Duminy 64*) 

Two hours of rain earlier in the day caused a match between the women´s teams of the two countries to be abandoned.
