ISLAMABAD: Salman Khan’s latest venture ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ is scheduled to hit cinemas worldwide on the 22nd of this month, however it will not see the light of day in Pakistan.
Tiger Zinda Hai is the sequel of Ek Tha Tiger released in 2012 starring Bollywood's Dabangg Khan.
Pakistani singer Atif Aslam had also lent vocals for this movie in a song named ‘Dil Diyan Gallan’ in which director Ali Abbas Zafar tried to incorporate Yash Chopra’s distinct concept of projecting romance.
However, according to media sources, Pakistan’s Ministry of Information after the recommendation of censor board declined to issue NoC of the movie to be released here.
Reportedly, there are controversial scenes in the film related to Pakistan after which censor board did not approve the screening of it.
The first part of the movie also faced hindrances as far as release in Pakistan is concerned. It featured Katrina Kaif as an agent from Pakistan due to which the movie's content became objectionable.
