Kangana Ranaut injured on the sets of 'Manikarnika The Queen of Jhansi'

Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut  has received injuries in between her brows while shooting on the sets of Manikarnika The Queen of Jhansi.

According to  local media reports, Kangana was giving a shot with her co-star Nihar Pandya where the actor had to drop the sword in reaction to the sword swung at her by her co-star. But because the timings went wrong, the sword hit her between the brows and was rushed to the hospital and admitted in the ICU. She is said to be in stable condition now.

Co-star Nihar Pandya was very apologetic to Kangana for the incident, however, she calmed him over that.

It took 30 minutes to take the actor to the nearby hospital. Though, Kangana was brave enough to tackle the injury even with the severe pain she was going through. According to the reports, the doctor who inspected the her said:, “It was a close cut to her bone.”

Commenting on the incident, Kamal Jain, the producer of the film said, “Kangana had to duck the sword when Nihar attacked her in a scene but the timings went wrong due to which Kangana got injured as the sword hit her between the forehead, instead.”

The actress has decided to let forward her scar in the left out scenes of the film rather distressing over the incident.

The actor will parade her scar in the film just like the Rani of Jhansi used to wear her scar as a pride. Kangana even took the sword fighting sessions for the film, the reports said.

Manikarnika The Queen of Jhansi would be the last film, Kangana would be doing with the director Krish as she is ready to get herself seated on the chair of director and will only be seen acting in her own directorial movies.
