TOBA TEK SINGH: A head-on collision between two passenger buses claimed the lives of two people and eleven others sustained injuries near Khardarabad area of Toba Tek Singh on Wednesday morning.
According to rescue sources, the accident took place near Samandari road of Khardarabad area where 2 coaches going from Faisalabad to Multan and Multan to Faisalabad, collided. The collision caused the buses to overturn, killing two people on the spot while six others were injured in the mishap.
Rescue teams reached the accident site and shifted the injured to DHQ Hospital for treatment. The accident was caused by high speed.
Traffic accidents are reported almost on a daily bases in Pakistan, due to poor roads, badly maintained vehicles and reckless driving.
