Kate Middleton carries 'huge burden' as royal family's biggest star

Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales has been described as the royal family's rockstar.

Royal experts point out the future Queen's growing popularity and importance following her return to public duties as the monarchy's secret weapon.

Speaking with People Magazine, Catherine Mayer shared that Kate the that member of the British royal family whom "everyone wants to see."

"Kate is the closest they have to a rockstar member these days, and she’s the one everyone wants to see," she notes.

However, Catherine adds, "That’s a huge burden for anyone to carry, let alone someone who has had existential battles with her health."

As Kate has returned to royal duties gradually after her cancer journey. In 2024 she made her first royal appearance at the Trooping the Colour after announcing her cancer diagnosis.

Now, despite the protests and renewed scrutiny surrounding Andrew Mountbatten Windsor during the Trooping celebrations, Kate Middleton maintained her composure throughout the event.

"Kate not only had to look vibrant and in command of her role, but she knew she would be scrutinized more than ever," Catherine said.
