The Duke and Duchess of Sussex met with King Charles and Queen Camilla on the second day of Royal Ascot

Prince Edward and Duchess Sophie have been praised by royal fans for the respect they showed to the King Charles as the royal arrived on the second day of Royal Ascot horse racing event.

In a video circulating online, the king's youngest brother and his wife are seen kissing and curtseying the Charles III at the event.

"They’re really quite an affectionate family," said an X user commenting on the  video that was shared with the caption, "A kiss and a curtsy between brothers and sisters in law! The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh greeting King Charles and Queen Camilla today."

Another user wrote, "it’s nice to see the respect they show to the King and Queen."

The traditional Royal Ascot horse racing event, which has been held in the United Kingdom since 1711, began on Tuesday with the attendance of King Charles III and Queen Camilla in London.
