Prince William reacts to Homewards major initiative

Prince William has reacted to a major initiative launched by his Homewards project to prevent the homelessness.

Launched in June 2023 by Prince William and The Royal Foundation of the Prince and Princess of Wales, Homewards, shared on its Instagram handle the animation and revealed about the initiative.

It said, “Before someone loses their home, there are often warning signs.

“A missed bill, a child missing school, a search online for help. But too often systems only respond when people hit crisis point.”

The statement further reads, “Homewards has launched the Homelessness Data Lab to bring together businesses, local partners and the sector to demonstrate how the latest technology and innovations can also help us to use data to spot when people might need help earlier.”

It said homelessness can be predictable and, with the right partnerships in place, it can be preventable.

Prince William and Kate Middleton, through their official Instagram handle, reacted to the project by pressing the heart button.

The royal couple also reposted the animation on their Instagram stories.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday, Prince William spoke on stage at London Tech Week about the role of data and technology in preventing homelessness.

The Prince of Wales said that homelessness rarely happens without warning - and technology could help to solve the issue.
