Princess Beatrice packs up and leaves without husband and children
Princess Beatrice is praised for carrying her own bags before she sits in a cab
An unknown man has been criticized for not helping Princess Beatrice with her luggage after an undated video of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson’s eldest daughter surfaced online.
The man, apparently a cab driver, remained seated behind the wheel even after speaking with her and did not get out until she had opened the trunk to load her bags.
Many people praised Princess Beatrice for carrying her own bags, calling her a strong woman who does her own work without anyone’s help.
Others were less sympathetic, pointing to the on-duty security guard and suggesting it was a PR stunt to get sympathy.
Commenting on the video, a woman wrote on X: "Females don’t want help. I can’t say how many times my husband has tried to be a gentleman and ask women if he can help, and every one of them declined. I have suggested to him to stop asking. Let it go. Ungrateful."
Another user said: "He has zero manners as a man. Forget the fact that she’s a princess. A real man would have immediately lifted her luggage and put it in the car."
"Beatrice packed up & leaving without her husband & child?" wondered another.
Princess Beatrice is married to property developer Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi and the couple has two daughters: Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi and Athena Elizabeth Rose Mapelli Mozzi.
Beatrice is also stepmother to Edoardo’s son, Christopher "Wolfie" Woolf
