D4vd’s Hollywood Hills home searched for missing teen Cleste Rivas’ homicide

The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) searched a Hollywood Hills home where singer D4vd had been staying. They executed a search warrant and collected “several items of evidence.” The singer, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, does not own the house; his manager had rented it for him.

The body found in Tesla has been identified as Celeste Rivas, a 15-year-old girl who had been missing since April 2024.

The LAPD is investigating the death as a homicide. The cause of death has not been released. The medical examiner stated that the body was in a “highly decomposed” state and had likely been in the vehicle for a long time.

A representative for D4vd has said that the singer is cooperating with authorities. Police have not named him as a suspect.

D4vd has cancelled the rest of his world tour in the wake of the discovery.

Social media and news outlets have pointed out several possible connections between D4vd and Celeste Rivas, including a matching “Shhh” tattoo on their right index fingers and a leaked unreleased song D4vd reportedly titled “Celeste.”

Additionally, Rivas’ mother told TMZ that her daughter was dating someone named “David.”

News reports say the Tesla was registered to the singer D4vd. The police have not said that D4vd is a suspect, but they are investigating the case as a murder.
