Geo’s Amaan Ramazan gains more fervor, enthusiasm

KARACHI: The popularity of the renowned Geo TV programme Amaan Ramazan is going strong just like day one despite the end of Ramazan. The reason behind the attractiveness of the programme is the interesting and different style of compering of Dr Amir Liaquat Hussain. Another importance of the 27th day of Ramazan programme was the participation of famous analyst and host of Geo’s Capital Talk programme, Hamid Mir.
Hamid Mir praised Dr Amir Liaquat Hussain for presenting such an attractive and knowledgeable programme. He said that Dr Amir had broken all past records of his reputation saying that it was his honour to participate in the show. He prayed to Almighty Allah to save Dr Amir from jealous persons.
Dr Amir also hailed Hamid Mir for his services in the field of journalism and broadcasting. He also praised the services of renowned journalist Waris Mir, the father of Hamid Mir, for his untiring services in the field of journalism.
Hamid Mir also recalled his bold reporting during the Gaza war in Palestine terming that news reporting was the most difficult task of his life done during raids and bombardment of Israeli warplanes.
Dr Amir Liaquat Hussain also referred to the book consisting of columns of Hamid Mir printed in Daily Jang, “Qalam Kaman”.Dr Amir also presented a donation of Rs 50,000 to a cancer patient Saima Aziz for her treatment on behalf of MSF. Besides, Allama Nasim Ahmad Siddiqui, Hafiz Ibtasam Elahi Zaheer and Dr Fazal Ahmad also participated in the Amaan Ramazan programme. On this occasion, a number of prizes were also distributed among the participants.
