ISLAMABAD: Pervez Khattak, PTI’s nominated chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) said the provincial government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) would make the province corruption free and peaceful. It will focus on the stability of provincial institutions, restoring law and order situation and stopping irregularities and nepotism in the province.
Talking to a television channel on Monday, Pervaiz Khattak said after coming into power his government would introduce a merit-based policy and appoint capable persons at top official posts.
He said the provincial government would consist of 15 members, who would be experts from different fields. He said education, health, tourism and social development would be the main focus of the provincial government. He said the PTI believed in dialogue and following the democratic norms, but protection of the people’s lives would be its top priority. It will not targets opponents.
