Four killed in blasts at NWA arms market

MIRANSHAH: Four people were killed and seven others injured in a blast at the arms market in Mir Ali subdivision of North Waziristan Agency on Thursday. An official of the political administration in the Mir Ali subdivision said a mysterious blast took place in the market housing arms shops, which was then followed by several other explosions. He said a fire broke out in the market and destroyed six other shops.Local tribesmen later extinguished the fire and stopped it from spreading to other markets. Local people said four people who died in the market blast belonged to the Mahsud tribe in South Waziristan. There was no information about the nature of the blast.
