PTI workers identified as Matiuullah, Haroonur Rasheed and Altaf got seriously injured and were shifted to the hospital. Some sources said the attack might be a reaction to PTI chief Imran Khan’s Saturday speech in Mardan where he criticised Maulana Fazlur Rehman. However, no-one has accepted responsibility for the attack.
