CM for solution to problems under Iqbal’s vision

CHIEF Minister Shahbaz Sharif visited the mausoleum of Allama Muhammad Iqbal, laid a wreath on the grave and offered Fateha. Recording his impression in the visitors’ book, the chief minister paid rich tribute to the Poet of the East.
Later, talking to the media, the chief minister said Pakistan was facing a number of problems and challenges; however, these issues could be resolved by following the ideas of Allama Iqbal. He said that a separate country was created for the Muslims of the subcontinent as a result of historic resolution approved by the forefathers of the nation on March 23, 1940, but it was unfortunate that the goals of creation of the country had still not been achieved. He said that it was his commitment to the people on the Pakistan Day that the problems being faced by the country would be resolved under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Pakistan would regain its lost status in the comity of the nations. He said the foundation stone of Rawalpindi-Islamabad Metro Bus Project had been laid on the historic occasion of the Pakistan Day and the completion of this project would result in the provision of speedy and comfortable transport facilities to the citizens of twin cities on the pattern of Lahore. In reply to a question, he said everyone had the right of freedom of expression. He said the PML-N wanted good relations with the neighbouring countries, 1,300 megawatt more electricity would be available in the national grid after a year. He said every effort of the government was aimed at progress and prosperity of the people.
CM visits Jamia Ashrafia: Shahbaz Sharif went to Jamia Ashrafia Sunday and condoled with Maulana Muhammad Ubaidullah, Administrator Jamia Ashrafia and Maulana Hafiz Fazal Rahim Ashrafi on the death of their brother Haji Waliullah. The chief minister also offered Fateha for the departed soul.
Meanwhile, Shahbaz Sharif prayed for the early recovery of Zafar Iqbal Jhagra, the PML-N

Secretary General. The CM directed that best medical facilities be provided to Zafar Iqbal Jhagra in the hospital. It may be mentioned that Zafar Iqbal Jhagra was injured in a road accident.
greets cricket team: Shahbaz Sharif has congratulated the Pakistan cricket team and the nation on the glorious victory against Australia in T-20 World Cup. In a statement, he said the victory of the Pakistan cricket team was a gift for the nation on the Pakistan Day. He said Pakistan won this crucial match against Australia through excellent team spirit. He expressed the hope that the cricket team would display the same performance and also win World Cup title.
