Role of college of physicians pivotal, says Bhagwandas

KARACHI: Justice (R) Rana Bhagwandas says the College of Physicians and Surgeons is playing a pivotal role by providing best training to doctors for the last 50 years.
Speaking as chief guest at the 45th ceremony of award of certificates of the college here Tuesday, he said doctors who have completed training from here are serving humanity not only in Pakistan but throughout the world.
He said this institution has trained more then 90 percent of physicians of the country. 208 persons were given SCBS Flues, 60 MCPS and five DCPS degrees. Two doctors were given gold medals for their distinctive positions.
Justice (R) Rana Bhagwandas congratulated all the doctors who have completed their courses and advised them to serve humanity. College of physicians President Professor Zafarullah Chaudhry and other faculty members were present on the occasion.
The college president said this college have 14 centres in the country including Karachi. He announced that the college would celebrate its golden jubilee next year.
