Hayat Sherpao’s death anniversary observed in Chitral

Lahore

February 11, 2011

CHITRAL: Like other parts of the province, the 36th death anniversary of Hayat Muhammad Sherpao was observed in Town Hall in Chitral on Thursday.
Addressing the gathering, the speakers including Pakistan People’s Party-Sherpao (PPP-S) district president Abdul Wali Khan Advocate, Hamid Ahmed Advocate, Haji Ghulam Hussain, Irshad Muqarrar and others paid tributes to late Hayat Muhammad Khan Sherpao for his marvellous achievements including providing electricity from the National Grid Station in Malakand.
Coming hard on the public representatives, Abdul Wali said after election they forgot the promises made with the people. He said the PPP-S would sweep the next general elections in Chital district.
Giving two-week deadline to the local administration, the PPP-S leaders threatened to launch protest movement if electricity was not provided to Chitral city and infrastructure and Angarghon Water Supply Scheme was not repaired forthwith.
