Suspension of Naheed’s membership condemned

LAHORE
THE PPP activists have condemned the suspension of membership of Naheed Khan and demanded the incumbent leadership not corner the committed members of the party.
The PPP workers, including Yusuf Adil, an activist from Faisalabad and Salim, former guard of the slain PPP Chairperson Benazir Bhutto, stated the present leadership of the party shouldn’t forget that Naheed Khan and Safdar had played a tremendous role as staunch party activists. They said it wasn’t the right decision to suspend the membership of the couple just on the basis of voicing for the workers’ right.
The PPP activists said the caravan of Naheed and Safdar would gain further strength in future, as the party knew they were raising a just demand of earliest results into the murder case of Shaheed Bibi.
