Islamabad: Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) is going to launch Islamabad City Tours from January 10 and all arrangements for the grand opening of the tourist transport services have been made, said PTDC Managing Director, Ch. Abdul Ghafoor Khan.
While addressing a special meeting attended by all concerned officials of the corporation, he said Punjab Governor Malik Mohammad Rafiq Rajwana will inaugurate the tourist service. Punjab Chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif is likely to be the chief guest on the occasion. The meeting was held to finalise arrangements of the launching ceremony.
The managing director issued necessary directions to the officials in connection with the inauguration of the bus service at the Chief Executive office of the PTDC. Later on talking to journalists, Ghafoor Khan said that a long fleet of vehicles along with the buses of Islamabad City Tours would leave Islamabad from Flashman Hotel after the inauguration by the Punjab governor. “Nominal fare for travelling in ICT bus has been fixed which will enable the people to utilise its services,” he added.
