KARACHI: Ambassador of Republic of Indonesia to Pakistan, Ishak Latuconsina has nominated Abdul Majid Haji Muhammad, president of Karachi Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCCI) as the founding chairman of Indonesia-Pakistan Business Forum, a press statement said on Thursday.
The forum is likely to be formally launched by the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Pakistan sometime in September.
“Majid is nominated for the Chairmanship of Indonesia-Pak Business Forum keeping in view his immense experience of trading with Indonesia and regional countries, particularly in palm oil trade with Indonesia,” said Latuconsina.
He anticipated that Abdul Majid as the Chairman of Indonesia-Pakistan Business Forum will play a vital role in further enhancing and strengthening of the mutually beneficial trade ties between the business community of two brother countries.
