PESHAWAR: Provincial Chief of Awami National Party, Bashir Bilour Thursday urged the government to resolve Bara disorder through traditional jirga system, "As force is no solution to any problem."

In a statement he dubbed the recent turmoil in Federally Administered Tribal Areas, especially in Khyber Agency, as an intrigue against Pakhtuns, saying that the chaos has led to a complete standstill to business activities in the tribal agency.

He accused the political administration of Khyber Agency of imposing an unannounced curfew in the tribal agency, "which has added to the miseries of tribesmen." He also demanded of the government to settle the issue of aliens in the tribal belt through talks and introduce reforms in accordance with the aspirations of the tribal people, says a press release.
