Citizens deprived of valuables

PAKPATTAN: Locals were deprived of cash and valuables in seven incidents on Monday.
Omar Rasheed of Gulshan Iqbal Colony, Arifwala was deprived of a cellphone and Rs 154,500 in Chak 19/EB.
Four robbers entered the shop of Ahsan ul Haq of Chak 163/EB and took away cash and a cellphone worth Rs 175,000.
Abdul Shakoor of L-Block, Arifwala, was intercepted near the cotton factory and was deprived of his motorbike and a costly cellphone.
Muhammad Khalid Nazir parked his car (LEA-7616) near a godown at grain market and when he came back he found his car missing.
Thieves entered the shop of Faisal Fareed of Bijli Chowk, Pakpattan and stole cloth worth Rs 105,600.
Five thieves stole construction material worth 135,000 from the construction plot of Mirza Sarfraz Baig.
Abbas and his accomplices stole forest department wood worth Rs 172,100 from Chak 161/EB.

ILLEGAL WEAPONS SEIZED: Police arrested accused and recovered illegal arms from their possession.
Police arrested Maqsood Ahmad from Barkat Chowk, Qaboola and sized 15 litres wine.
Police arrested Khizar Ahmad and recovered a pistol, arrested Saddam Hussain and recovered a pistol, and arrested Imran and recovered a pistol.
LONG POWER OUTAGES: Locals Monday suffered unscheduled power loadshedding in different areas of city.
The locals also suffered load shedding of gas. The power and gas loadshedding disturbed daily life of the locals.
The citizens urged the relevant authorities to look into the matter.
MEETING: A meeting of the district quality control is being held at DCO office on December 10. The DCO will preside over the meeting.
