* Has a younger brother, Greg, who is also an actor.

* Became a member of an improv troupe while at college. Started pursuing comedy professionally after graduating.
* Gained fame after joining the cast of Saturday Night Live in 2001, eventually leaving the series in 2008.
* Subsequently starred in the sitcom Parks and Recreation (2009 – 2015).
