CHARSADDA: Deputy Inspector General of Police, Mardan, Saeed Khan Wazir, on Tuesday lauded the bravery of the cops for foiling the terrorists’ designs of causing more damage in the Bacha Khan University attack.

Speaking at a function here, Saeed Khan Wazir said that the cops fought with bravery and killed the attackers before they could have achieved their target. The terrorists wanted to cause more damage than the Army Public School in Peshawar, he added. The DIG said the terrorists wanted to target Abdul Wali Khan University but later changed the target as Bacha Khan University was located in a rural area.
