Swiss authorities turn down Brahamdagh Bugti’s asylum request  

The Swiss immigration authorities rejected the asylum application filed by Brahamdagh as citing Pakistan government’s decision of declaring him a terrorist.

LONDON: The authorities in Switzerland have turned down the political asylum request by self-exiled Baloch leader Brahamdagh Bugti on Friday.

The Swiss immigration authorities rejected the asylum application filed by Brahamdagh as citing Pakistan government’s decision of declaring him a terrorist.

Pakistan has declared Brahamdagh Bugti-led Baloch Republican Party (BRP) as a terrorist organization.

Late Nawab Akbar Bugti’s grandson Brahamdagh Bugti had reached Switzerland in 2010 and has been living there ever since.
