The youngest musician to be featured on Coke Studio, Uzair Jaswal won Best Song of the Year award for his single ‘Tere Bin’ at the Radio Mirchi Awards in India.

Uzair had lent his voice for the song and tweaked it a bit for its Indian version in Sunny Leone’s musical thriller Ek Paheli Leela. This was the first song released by the makers of the film.

The actor who debuted in Jalaibee, Uzair, has not just made the country proud for his work locally but his talent is also recognized now internationally.

“Uzair Jaswal is an absolutely amazing singer,” the film’s choreographer Ahmed Khan told The Indian Express. “The song ‘Tere Bin’ was a rage on Youtube, and hence a lot of producers wanted to acquire the rights of the song.

When I heard the song for the first time, I was sure that it will do wonders for the movie. When Bhushan heard the song, even he fell in love with it at that very instant. As a lot of producers in India were eyeing that song, we bought the rights of the song instantly.”
