Food items in hotels are not safe for consumption because most hotels do not use good quality cooking oils. Furthermore, hotels are so unclean that one can see cockroaches and other insects walking on the floor and on the tables.
This grim picture is the reality of hotels across Karachi. The relevant authorities should visit hotels regularly to ensure hygiene standards are upheld.
