Young and talented actor, Arzu Khan rose to fame through serial ‘Ishqyia’ in 2020, which had the likes of Feroze Khan and Hania Aamir as leads. Arzu not only portrayed her role confidently but also amassed applause from the seniors for her talent. Her strong role in serial ‘Raqse-e-Bismil’, having Imran Ashraf and Sarah Khan in lead roles, consolidated her position as an actress and proved that she is definitely here to stay. But despite having such big projects, Arzu remains very level-headed which definitely adds more value to her work and presence. You! How old were you when you started doing makeup?
Arzu Khan: I started wearing makeup while I was in university, mostly just lip tints.
You! When stepping out, do you wear makeup all the time?
AK: No, I just prefer using sunblock with lipstick or lip balm.
You! What is your go-to makeup?
AK: Lip tint and blush.
You! To deal with summer, any tips for school and university going girls?
AK: Keep hydrated. To exfoliate, I prefer evening timings, so your skin can convalesce some of its natural balance overnight. By exfoliating, you can easily get rid of uneven, blotchy or dull skin to reclaim the healthy and new skin underneath.
You! What is your favourite perfume?
AK: Senses by J.
You! Do you use sun-blocks or any serums when you go out?
AK: Yes, I prefer to use sun block.
You! What are your favourite brands in lipsticks?
AK: Maybelline.
You! Do you use lighter tones of foundations or warm tones?
AK: Warm tones.
You! After coming back from shoots how do you remove the makeup and cleanse your skin?
AK: I remove my makeup by using the L'Oréal Paris Micellar Cleansing Water.
You! Hair gets damaged after straightening and blow drying. How do you manage?
AK: I try home remedies and prefer to apply coconut oil and aloe vera gel.
You! And what do you do to keep your hair healthy?
AK: Oiling.
You! What do you prefer, natural makeup or zero makeup?
AK: Natural makeup.
You! One thing you can’t give up that keeps you healthy and fit?
AK: Exercise to stay fit.
You! What is one cosmetic you cannot do without?
AK: Lip tint.
You! When it comes to cosmetics, which brand do you usually use?
AK: I’m not that brand conscious. I use what suits my skin without having any side effects.
You! What’s in your beauty bag?
AK: Perfume, foundation, lip tint.
You! Do you go to salon regularly for your facials?
AK: No, I do not go regularly but, yes, I apply aloe vera once in a week.
You! Your beauty regimen?
AK: Aerobics, drinking enough water for glowing skin, use of rose for water cleansing
You! Do you use anti-aging creams?
AK: No.
You! Where do you go for your makeup shopping?
AK: Nowhere specific.
You! Do you use whitening creams?
AK: No.

AK: Beauty means feeling good about yourself and a beautiful personality refers to a beautiful person having a beautiful heart.

AK: My family.
