The Sindh government has announced to impose a lockdown in Karachi from today (July 31) to August 8. The city is in the middle of a Covid-19 crisis. The National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) had opposed this decision.
One hopes that this decision will help Karachi control the situation in a timely manner. The Delta variant of the coronavirus is quite lethal. People should follow SOPs and play their part in eradicating this virus from the country.
