According to the government, overseas Pakistani workers who are stuck in Pakistan, due to the Covid-19 outbreak, were administered the first dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine in June on a priority basis. Now that the second dose of the vaccine has become due, AstraZeneca is out of stock. Overseas Pakistanis are desperately waiting for the second dose as they want to get fully vaccinated in a timely manner. The authorities concerned should look into this matter on a priority basis so that overseas Pakistanis, especially those who work in Saudi Arabia, can travel back to their host countries.
