Sindh Minister for Food and Minority Affairs Hari Ram Kishori Lal said on Friday that during the recent tenure of the PPP government, work had been completed on several development projects for the welfare of minority communities across the province.

He expressed these views while meeting a delegation of the Human Rights Youth Minority Organisation. Michael Bashir Khokhar led the delegation.

Lal said that the minority communities in Pakistan, especially in Sindh, had complete freedom to perform their religious rites.

He said the PPP had taken steps for the welfare of the minority communities during the current financial year.

The delegation requested the construction of the four walls of Massan of the Bagri community in Taluka Qazi Ahmed in the Shaheed Benazirabad district. Lal assured the delegation that the construction work would be started.
