I recently visited Karachi for my medical treatment. However, this visit turned out to be torturous. My father and I were on our way to Jinnah Hospital when the police stopped our rickshaw and questioned us for more than an hour.
My uncle, who visited the city a month ago, also had the same experience. He was asked to show his Covid-19 vaccination card (even though there is no requirement that people who are visiting the hospital should carry the vaccination card). The authorities concerned must look into this issue and save poor people who come from far flung areas to the city for their treatment.
