The number of drug addicts has been increasing in the country for many years now. It is quite unfortunate that the government hasn’t done anything to deal with this serious problem. One of the reasons for this sorry situation is the easy availability of drugs at different places across the country. Now, drug sellers have also gained access to schools and universities. The authorities need to take strict action against people who are involved in the trade of drugs.
Awareness programmes should also be carried out to inform people about the dangers of substance abuse.
